Information We Collect

We collect only the information needed to respond to your inquiry and deliver the services you ask us to perform. Specifically:

• Contact details you submit through our project finder or contact form: first and last name, email address, phone number (optional), and project location (city and state).
• Project details you choose to share: project type, scope notes, square footage, timelines, existing plans or files, and any context you add to help us scope the work.
• Communications exchanged with us by email, phone, or SMS — including the content of messages and call records where applicable.
• Technical information automatically logged when you visit the site: IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and pages viewed. We use this to keep the site working and to understand general usage patterns.
• Payment information when you engage us for paid work. Payments are processed by third-party providers; we do not store full card numbers on our systems.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information (such as government ID numbers, health information, or biometric data) through this website, and we ask that you not include such information in form submissions.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide to:

• Respond to your inquiry, scope the work, and prepare a quote.
• Deliver the drafting, design, rendering, structural, permit, or estimating services you have engaged us to perform.
• Coordinate field staff, structural engineers, or permit reviewers on your behalf when your project requires it.
• Send transactional communications — project updates, file deliveries, invoices, scheduling, and replies to questions you initiate.
• Send SMS messages about your project inquiry only if you have given us SMS consent (see Section 04).
• Maintain records of completed work for our portfolio in anonymized or aggregated form, and only when permitted by our agreement with you.
• Operate, secure, and improve the website, and comply with our legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Who We Share Information With

We share information only with the parties needed to deliver the work you have engaged us to perform, or to operate this website. These include:

• Project collaborators — structural engineers, drafters, renderers, permit expediters, and field-survey contractors — strictly to the extent required to complete your project. Each is bound by confidentiality obligations to Frameline.
• Form and email delivery providers — for example, Web3Forms, which routes contact-form submissions to our inbox — that process submissions on our behalf.
• Hosting and analytics providers that keep the website running and help us understand aggregate, non-identifying usage.
• Payment processors that handle invoicing and card processing for engaged work.
• Legal and regulatory authorities when we are required by law to disclose information, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Frameline, our clients, or the public.
• A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of business assets — subject to the same protections described in this policy.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties, and we do not share it with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes.

SMS Messaging & Consent

If you provide your phone number on our contact form and check the SMS consent box, you agree to receive text messages from Frameline Studio about your project inquiry — for example, replies to your question, scheduling confirmations, scope clarifications, and other transactional updates related to the work you have asked us to do.

• Message frequency varies based on your project — typically only when you initiate a question or there is an active update to deliver.
• Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
• Opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. You will receive a final confirmation and then no further texts.

• SMS consent is optional. You can submit a project inquiry without providing a phone number or SMS consent — we will reply by email instead.
• We use your phone number only to send the messages you have consented to receive. We do not share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in status with any third party or affiliate for their marketing purposes.

SMS Terms of Service

By opting into SMS from a web form or other medium operated by Frameline Studio, you are agreeing to receive SMS messages from Frameline. This includes SMS messages for conversations (external). The terms below describe the program you are joining.

Frameline sends only project-related, transactional messages — never marketing or promotional content. You may receive:

• Conversational replies to questions you initiate with us.
• Appointment and site-visit reminders for surveys, walkthroughs, and meetings.
• Scheduling confirmations and rescheduling notices.
• Project notifications — scope clarifications, milestone updates, and status changes.
• File-delivery notifications when drawings, renderings, or estimates are ready for review.
• Account notifications, including invoice and payment reminders for engaged work.

• Messaging frequency may vary based on the stage of your project and how often you contact us. Many clients receive only a handful of messages over the course of an engagement.

• To opt out at any time, text STOP to any message from Frameline. You will receive a final confirmation and then no further messages from us.

Cookies & Analytics

This website may use a small number of cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences (such as form-state), to keep the site secure, and to measure aggregate usage so we can improve how the site performs. We do not use cookies for cross-site advertising or behavioral profiling.

Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Doing so may affect parts of the site, but you can still read the site and contact us by phone or email.

Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as needed to deliver the services you have engaged us to perform, to respond to follow-up questions, and to satisfy our legal, tax, and accounting obligations. When that time has passed, we delete or de-identify the information.

If you ask us to delete your inquiry and we are not legally required to keep it, we will do so within a reasonable time of your request.

Your Rights & Choices

You can ask us to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct information that is wrong or out of date.
• Delete information we are not required to keep.
• Stop sending you SMS messages (reply STOP), or stop sending you any further communications.

To make a request, write to hello@frameline.build. We will respond within a reasonable time and may need to verify your identity before acting on your request.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state or national privacy laws. We will honor those rights as required by law.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect the information you share with us. No system is perfectly secure, but we work with reputable vendors and limit access to your information to people who need it to do the work you have asked us to do.

Children's Privacy

Frameline Studio's services are intended for adults engaging us for construction-related design work. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective” date at the top of this page. If we make material changes that affect how we use information you have already shared, we will take reasonable steps to let you know.
